Rome, July 2016. It is night. The moon is full. I am sitting on a terrace of the Swiss Institute. A few hours earlier, Marie Kølbæk Iversen lectured, accompanied by the screening of Io/I (2015 –), a work that animates satellite images of Jupiter’s volcanic moon Io, taken by NASA’s Voyager I and II and Galileo.
